Dr. A. S. Ganesan Merit Scholarship

GSBM offers merit-based scholarships under the Dr. A. S. Ganesan Merit Scholarship, instituted in honour of the Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. A. S. Ganesan. The scholarship is awarded across two tracks.

Track A

Academic Merit Scholarship

Awarded to candidates based on their undergraduate degree aggregate percentage, irrespective of discipline.

  • The mark sheet submitted at the time of document verification shall be the basis of assessment.

Competitive Examination Scholarship

Awarded to candidates based on performance in recognised national and institutional entrance examinations. Eligible examinations include CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, TANCET and the GSBM Entrance Examination, as applicable.

  • Candidates who present a valid score from a recognised examination may be exempted from the GSBM Entrance Examination, subject to the admissions norms in force.
  • Scholarship eligibility shall be determined on the basis of the applicable percentile / score band.
  • Where an examination follows a different scoring or normalisation methodology, GSBM shall determine the equivalent scholarship band.

Important conditions

  • It applies to the programme tuition fee only (Rs. 6,50,000) and is not applicable to examination fees or other charges.
  • The maximum scholarship under any track or combination of eligibility shall not exceed Rs. 2,00,000.
